Coaching Approach

How I tackle challenges, problems and obstacles

As a former Executive in the Australian Government, I bring significant public-sector experience to my coaching, facilitation and workplace mediation practice. This experience has been demonstrated throughout the more 1000 hours of coaching I have delivered.

I offer an individually tailored approach to coaching grounded in an evidence-base. This means that I listen and work in partnership with the client, using a broad menu of frameworks and techniques that I have acquired through study and experience. In particular, I enable clients to recognise and harness their strengths, notice patterns and default modes of operating, and help them develop strategies for frustrations and obstacles. Through reflection and discussion, I also enable clients to form new thinking and habits through supportive challenge and engaging readiness for change.

Clarity is critical. I help clients understand what to expect and remain flexible in their thoughts, and their approach to issues and goals. I have had great success facilitating change for my clients by aligning their professional and personal goals with values and strengths and enabling them to identify strategies and achieve outcomes.
